Location: Pasadena, CA | Position Level: Entry Level
Education & Experience:
- 2 – 3 years of customer service experience required
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive all incoming phone calls
- Transfer calls to appropriate team members
- Take messages and relay them to appropriate people.
- Handle incoming and outbound physical mail. Print and apply postage to outbound mail.
- Print and mail invoices to customers as needed.
- File all paperwork related to orders/shipments.
- Receives and processes orders by phone, mail, fax, or email.
- Prepares sales orders for orders that are obtained from customers.
- Informs customer of unit prices, COD amounts, shipping date, anticipated delays, and any other pertinent information required by the customer.
- Coordinates with the warehouse/shipping departments regarding any large/unusual orders and follows up on orders to ensure delivery by specified dates.
- Prepares proposals to existing customers.
- Builds and maintains customer relationships.
- Help Managers with preparing reports and/or performing data updates as needed.
- Full time, Monday – Friday, in-office job
Skills:
- Great planning and organizing skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
